RATAN KAUR, RANI
RATAN KAUR, RANI, widow of Sahib Singh, the Bharigi chief of Gujrat, was in 1811 taken by Maharaja Ranjit Singh under his mantle by the rite of chddar anddzi after the death of her husband. In 1819, she gave birth to Prince Multana Singh. She survived the Maharaja, and was granted an annual pension of Rs 1,000 by the British. References :1.
