Twenty-five of his horsemen remained with the Raja while the rest marched back with Shamsher Singh Sandharivalia. Kahn Singh`s dlwan, Narain Singh, supplied provisions and carriage to the British army at Ganda Singhvala and Kasur. For his loyalty to the British Kahn Singh was allowed to keep his jdgirs after the annexation of the Punjab. He died in 1873.
