Bhai Dan Singh, a devoted disciple from the Brar clan and whose own village Dan Singhvala lay only 6 km to the northwest of where Guru Gobind Singh had halted, supplied provisions for Guru ka Langar. The old building of Gurdwara Lakkhi Jangal, constructed and endowed by Raja Harindar Singh (1915-89) of Faridkot state, has since been replaced by a bigger hall, with a square flatroofed sanctum in the middle. The sarovar, also constructed by the Faridkot ruler, is close by. Special gatherings take place every month to mark the fullmoon day.
