NALUCHHI, a village three kilometres west of Muzaffarabad in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, had a Gurudwara commemorating Guru Hargobind who had visited the village during his visit to Kashmir in 1620. Maharaja Ranjit Singh had made out to it a land grant worth Rs 3,000 annually. Baisakhi was observed as a religious festival in the gurudwara until its evacuation in the wake of invasion by Pakistan supported tribal raiders in October 1947.
