NAU, BHAI, a Sahigal Khatri, was a pious Sikh of the time of Guru Arjan. His name is included in the roster of the Guru`s devotees in Bhai Mani Singh, Sikhdn di Bhagat Maid.

REKH RAO, BHAI, and Bhana Mallan were Sikh residents of Kabul. They looked after the local chieftain`s stores. Both were pious Sikhs and very honest. UGVANDA, BHAl, an Arora resident of Chunian, now in Lahore district of Pakistan Punjab, received initiation at the hands of Guru Arjan. The name of Bhai Ugvanda occurs in Bhai Gurdas, Varan, XI. 23.

BALA, BHAI, whose name occurs in Bhai Gurdas, Varan, XI. 19, embraced the Sikh faith in the time of Guru Arjan, As reports Bhai Mani Singh, Sikhan diBhagat Mala, he and his companions Mula, Suja, Chandu, Ram Das Bhandari and SairiDas received instruction at the hands of Guru Arjan.

CHETO, or Chetu, was one of the masands, i.e. vicars and to the collectors, found guilty of misappropriating devotees` offerings and punished by Guru Gobind Singh, who finally abolished the system.

JALLO, BHAI, a Sikh officiant in the time of Guru Arjan, was reputed for his probity. Bhai Gurdas, Varan, XI. 22, applauds him for his qualities of uprightness, integrity and simplicity.

KUKO, BHAI, a Vadhavan Khatri, and his son, Ananta, according to Bhai Man! Singh, Sikhan di Bhagat Maid, received instruction at the hands of Guru Hargobind (1595-1644). Both father and son were also trained in the martial arts and formed part of the Guru`s retinue.
