MATHRA SINGH, son of Bhai Dial Das, was according to Sarup Singh Kaushish, Guru kidn Sdkhidn, a warrior in the retinue of Guru Gobind Singh. He fought valiantly in the battle of Nirmohgarh against the combined armies of the hill chiefs on 7 October 1700 and fell a martyr.
