THARVA, village in Ambala district of Haryana, 2 km from Lakhnaur, is sacred to Guru Gobind Singh who is said to have visited it during his stay at Lakhnaur in 1670-71. Gurdwara Guru Gobind Singh Sahib commemorating that visit consists of three rooms in a row with a walled compound in front. The shrine is maintained by the village sangat.
